SYNOPSIS

Love Above All follows Joanna, a young woman whose heart beats with an unwavering devotion to her faith and an undeniable love for Noemi. Their connection blossoms against a backdrop of prejudice and social expectation — until the fragile balance of their secret romance is shattered when Joanna's mother discovers them sharing a tender kiss, and makes a heart-wrenching decision: to subject her daughter to conversion therapy.

Months pass, marked by the intense struggle to suppress her true self. But with each day her determination to embrace her identity strengthens. Joanna returns home prepared to face the consequences of her authenticity, even at the risk of her mother's love.

Love Above All is a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of love — a reminder that our true strength lies in embracing our authentic selves, whatever the cost.

THE CAUSE

LGBTQ+ identity and mental health, and a stand against the harmful practice of conversion therapy — affirming that every person's worth and dignity are to be cherished, and their authentic self celebrated.
