A professionally produced film for your cause — written, directed and delivered free of charge.
Who it's for
Registered charities, non-profits and community interest companies based in the UK with an annual income under £150,000.
These are the organisations doing essential work with the smallest budgets — the ones who need visibility most and can least afford to buy it. If that's you, this programme exists for you.

✅ A complete film, written and directed by our team and produced to professional standards.
✅ Social media cuts formatted for your channels.
✅ Screening files for events, community venues and schools.

There is no charge at any stage. Films for Humanity retains the rights to the film; you receive full permission to use it across your channels, campaigns and events.

What we ask of you
An on-camera interview. We film a short conversation with someone from your organisation about your work and the cause. This appears alongside the film on our social channels, and it's what turns a drama into a campaign.
A short filmed review once the film is delivered, telling us honestly what it did for you.
Social media support. Share the film across your channels and tag us. Reach is the point — for your cause and for ours.
A named contact who can respond within a reasonable timeframe throughout the project.

How it works
1. Apply. Complete the application form below. It asks about your organisation, your income, your cause, and the kind of film you have in mind. It's detailed by design — the more we understand, the better the film.
2. Join the waiting list. We produce a limited number of films each year, so successful applicants are scheduled rather than started immediately.
3. Meet the creative team. When your project comes up, we arrange a call to understand your brief properly.
4. Choose your direction. We return with three creative concepts. You choose one, and we refine it together.
5. We make the film. We write, cast, shoot and edit. You'll see the film before anyone else does.
6. Record your review. Once you've approved the film, we film a short conversation about the experience and what the film means for your organisation.
7. Delivery. You receive the film, the social cuts and the screening files.
From first meeting to delivered film, the process typically takes up to three months.

Creative control
We write and direct. That's deliberate: it's what allows us to make drama rather than promotional video, and it's why the films work as stories rather than messaging.
You are not a passive participant. You choose from three concepts, you shape the one you pick, and you can request adjustments or decline a direction that isn't right for your organisation. What we don't do is produce a film to an external script.
